Veterinarian
Dr. Johnston grew up in the Dallas area. She attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business (2010) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2013). While in veterinary school she accepted a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force and went on active duty after graduation. While on active duty she was stationed in Cheyenne, WY and Washington D.C.
After serving, she moved to Amarillo, TX where she developed her surgical skills with the Humane Society before relocating to the Houston area in 2019. Since moving to Houston she has continued to expand her surgical capabilities and developed a passion for animal dentistry. She currently resides in Taylor Lake Village with her partner Jim and their 3 dogs and 2 cats.
